Manager Operations – Investment management

32- 40 hours per week, initially for 1 year, based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands


Triple Jump is an impact-focused investment manager that manages and advises several funds in the area of financial inclusion, SME finance, affordable housing, renewable energy and agri. Triple Jump’s mission is to go where investing capital empowers people and improves lives. Triple Jump is headquartered in Amsterdam, and has a strong footprint in the emerging markets with 5 regional offices located in Georgia, Peru, Mexico, Thailand and Kenya. The team consists of over 80 professionals, including 30 different nationalities, with broad field experience and in-depth financial expertise. Triple Jumps’ investment portfolio spans across more than 60 countries.

Triple Jump offers professional asset management services to investors, ranging from asset selection, to portfolio management to fund administration. Triple Jump holds an AIFMD license and is regulated by the Dutch Central Bank and the Authority Financial Markets. Our investor base includes institutional investors, development banks, governments, NGOs, and retail banks, all of whom seek to combine both financial returns with social/environmental impact.



As Manager Operations you will have the responsibility to manage and provide leadership to a diverse group of people and departments involved in the investment transaction execution process. This is a new role within Triple Jump. You will have the ownership of the execution process. Team members take care of the financial and legal execution and administration of investments in non-listed companies in frontier markets whereas the investment opportunities are identified by the investment teams. You discuss progress with stakeholders, flag and solve issues, set priorities all with the intention to improve quality, increase efficiencies and ensure timeliness of execution. It will be your goal to streamline business processes and optimize supporting systems and their usage. You participate in overall company projects such as the review of the AOIC and IT projects. You will head a team of 7- 12 people. In addition, the job entails close cooperation with amongst others the Investment Teams and the Legal Team. In this role, you will report to the Director Fund Services.



  • Manage the investment transaction execution process, starting with CDD up and including the payment of the investments;
  • Create dashboards of performance metrics, monitor progress, report on kpi’s, solve bottlenecks;
  • Optimizing business processes; increase efficiency and fully deploy system usage;
  • Involved in several team and company projects supporting product development/ company growth.


Job requirements

  • University degree in Finance, Economics or related fields;
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience within the operations/transactions services environment within the financial industry, preferably under AIFMD regulation;
  • Solid managerial experience, people manager;
  • High accountability;
  • Subject matter on the investment process;
  • Adherence to policies and procedures;
  • A thorough understanding service organization control reporting (ISAE 3402);
  • Fluent in English, knowledge of Dutch preferred, Spanish is a pre.
