Triple Jump, a Dutch impact investment manager with a global portfolio, is looking for an:


HR Strategist 

16 hours per week, temporary assignment for 6-9 months, based in Amsterdam


Are you ready to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our organization? We are seeking an experienced HR Strategist to join our HR team and collaborate closely with our HR Manager to co-develop the next three-year HR strategic plan. As an integral member of our team, you will have the opportunity to influence strategic decision-making, drive organizational growth, and foster a culture of excellence.


  • Co-develop the 3-Year Strategic HR Plan: Partner closely with the HR Manager and other key stakeholders to co-create a comprehensive three-year plan that aligns with organizational objectives, values, and growth aspirations;
  • Strategic HR Input: Provide strategic insights and recommendations on human capital management, talent acquisition, workforce planning, performance management, succession planning and employee engagement initiatives to support the achievement of business goals;
  • Conduct Environmental Analysis: Conduct thorough environmental scans, market research, and industry benchmarking to identify opportunities, challenges, and emerging trends that may impact the organization's long-term success;
  • Develop HR Strategies: Translate business objectives into actionable HR strategies and initiatives. This includes designing talent development programs, succession planning frameworks, and organizational restructuring plans to optimize workforce capabilities and drive performance excellence;
  • Align HR Initiatives with Business Objectives: Ensure that HR initiatives and programs are closely aligned with the overall business strategy and contribute to the achievement of key performance indicators (KPIs) and targets outlined in the business plan;
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, senior leadership, and department heads to gain buy-in, alignment, and support for HR strategies and initiatives. Foster strong relationships built on trust, transparency, and open communication.

Job requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field;
  • Proven experience in strategic HR planning, business development, or management consulting roles;
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions;
  • Excellent project management skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results within tight deadlines;
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and concepts to diverse audiences;
  • Strategic thinker with a forward-looking mindset and a passion for driving organizational change and innovation;
  • Collaborative team player who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
